I discovered pottery while taking classes at a local art gallery, and that experience ignited a passion that has since grown through studios, community spaces, and a lot of hands-on experimentation with clay and glaze. Today, I work from my home studio in Fremont, Seattle, where I create distinctive stoneware designed for everyday use. My pieces feature simple forms and dynamic glazes, all of which I mix and develop in the studio.

The glazes I use often lean toward cool tones—greens, blues, and earthy neutrals—drawn from the beauty of the Pacific Northwest. I enjoy exploring different clay bodies, each chosen to complement and enhance the glazes I develop.

Functionality is at the heart of my work. I focus on creating bowls, mugs, and vessels that are not only beautiful but made to be used every day.

Each piece is thrown on the potter’s wheel, with attention to balance and refinement in the form. I love experimenting with glaze chemistry to craft surfaces that flow, shift, and reveal surprising details as the pieces evolve.
